Abstract

1317561 Plant growth regulants NISSAN KAGAKU KOGYO KK 21 Aug 1970 [22 Aug 1969] 41899/69 Heading C1B A composition for influencing plant growth, particularly by promoting tillering of crops of the Gramineae family such as rice, comprises a compound of Formula I or an ammonium or alkali metal salt thereof (particularly the sodium or potassium salt), or a salt with an organic base, in admixture with a carrier or diluent. The composition may be in the form of a wettable powder, an emulsion, a dust or a granular product. The benzothiazole may be applied at a rate of 400 to 8000 gm./acre of plants to be treated. The benzothiazole may be used in admixture with a fertilizer or a mixture of fertilizers.
