Abstract

1317355 Coat hangers BREMSHEY A G 12 Nov 1971 [27 Aug 1971] 52550/71 Heading A4U A coat hanger comprises a suspension hook 5, a breast portion 3 and a neck portion 2 which is mechanically formed with ribs to resemble the neck portion of a roll neck pullover. The part indicated by the broken line 1 remains visible through the neck opening of a garment supported on the hanger. The hanger is preferably formed of plastics material and may be flat or formed three-dimensionally. In modifications the hook is hidden by a mask representing a human face or is replaced by other suspension means, or the visible part of the hanger resembles a shirt with a collar a perforation being provided in the neck portion to receive the knot in a neck tie, the loop of the neck tie being passed through the perforation to hang at the rear thereof.
