Abstract

1316626 Combined aeration-filtration device J MULLER 29 May 1970 [30 May 1969] 26133/70 Heading B1D A combined aeration-filtration device comprises a stack of annular, grooved edge filters 24 disposed in a hollow body 20 which is attached to a flexible tap connection 23. A body outlet 20"' has an end piece 21 resiliently and slidingly attached thereto by means of spring 31 and a ring 27 which has air inlets 32. The end piece is secured to a holding element 25, e.g. a stirrup shaped member, which at its upper end releasably bears upon a ring 22 and to clamp the top connector to the hollow body and so hold the whole device together. A water deodorant 33 may be used. Gauzes 29, 30 and 31 are provided. In a modification, Fig. 3 (not shown), the hollow body is held between two facing spaced cup shaped elements which serve as inlet and outlet. The holding element is a centrally located rod secured to an outlet cup end piece and screwed into the inlet cup.
