Buckles.-A buckle comprises two parts, one part a being a curved plate with two slots b, c on each side of the top of the curve and side lugs d in proximity to the slot b, the other part consisting of a rectangular frame e having a bevelled bottom bar f. One end of the strap g is passed up through the slot b in the plate over the top bar h of the frame e, down through the slot b and up through the slot c. The other end of the strap is passed through the frame e and is gripped between the bevelled bar f and the plate a, the frame e being held against the lugs d.
