Abstract
1314607 Perfluorocarboxylic acids KUREHA KAGAKU KOGYO KK 9 Sept 1970 [12 Sept 1969] 43081/70 Heading C2C [Also in Division C3] Fluorocarboxylic acids and their salts of formula X (CF 2 ) n COOM, in which n is 4 to 10, X is fluorine or chlorine and M is hydrogen or NH 4 , are recovered from aqueous solution by adsorption on a weak basic anion-exchange resin followed by elution with aqueous ammonia. The aqueous solution may be that obtained from emulsion polymerization of a fluorinated olefin after salting-out of the polymer.
