Abstract

1313025 Clips THOMAS & BETTS CORP 19 April 1971 [10 April 1970] 26600/71 Heading E2B A bundling strap 10 is provided with teeth 18, Fig. 1, a tail end portion 20 and a head 22 in which is formed an aperture 24 having detents 28, 30, Fig. 5, therein. When the strap is in use the tail end portion 20 is passed through the aperture 24 in the head 22 and the detents 28, 30 are engaged by the teeth 18 so as to grip the bundle firmly. In modifications detents 38a, 38b, Fig. 8, may be offset relatively to a detent 40 so as to provide a greater number of fastening positions for the teeth 18, blocks 66, Fig. 9, may be provided to urge a strap 52 into contact with a detent 64, and the articles bundled may be protected from the teeth of the strap by webs 82, 88, Fig. 6 (not shown).
