Abstract
1313022 Polyurethane foam KABELUND METALLWERKE GUTEHOFENUNGSHUTTE AG 19 April 1971 [26 March 1970] 24685/71 Heading C3R A substantially closed-cell polyurethane foam is prepared by reacting a polyol and a polyisocyanate in the presence of a plasticizer for the polyurethane, e.g. tricresyl phosphate, and a non-crystalline plastic material comprising a polymerized olefin, e.g. polybutene and/or a non-crystalline olefin or paraffin derivative, e.g. petroleum jelly. The polyol and polyisocyanate components may be reacted in an equivalent ratio of 2À5 : 1. Uses.-Sealing material in cable construction.
