Abstract

1,170,079. Laminated panels. NATIONAL GYPSUM CO. 7 Dec., 1966 [28 March, 1966], No. 54854/66. Heading B5N. [Also in Division C3] An insulating panel consists of a rigid exterior sheet, such as asbestos-cement, an interior surface of gypsum wallboard and sandwiched between the two a polyurethane foam core which has been prepared by reacting an organic polyisocyanate with a polyol in the presence of a catalyst and a blowing agent, from 5 to 100% of the polyol consisting of an alkylene oxide adduct of a substantially aliphatic hydrocarboninsoluble pinewood resin. The form may be formed in place between the surface sheets or blocks of the foam may be formed and subsequently cut into slabs which are laminated between the sheets. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,070,840.
