1312395 Toy building kits Z-LOC BLOCK CO INC 6 July 1971 31647/71 Heading A6S [Also in Division E1] A toy building block kit for building double layer interlocked walls, includes a unit block A having a planar rectangular outer face for forming one side of said wall and inwardly extending interlocking means which slidingly interlock with like interlocking means extending from the inner faces of opposed unit blocks the outer faces of which form the other side of the wall. The interlocking means comprise dovetail grooves and half dovetail ridges formed by end sides 14 and angular flanges 12, the median width of the groove being half that of the block. Double width blocks B; corner pieces and T pieces (Figs. 3, 4 not shown) may be provided together with half height forms of these blocks and pieces so that a suitably overlapped wall structure may be obtained. Blocks for forming jambs, fills, 135‹ corners and chimneys may also be provided (Figs. 5 to 8, not shown). Narrow ridges p (Fig. 11, not shown) may be formed at the ends of the angular flanges 12 to facilitate sliding of the blocks into interengagement and the flanges 12 may also be curved such that the blocks can be snap-fitted as well as slidingly engaged.
