Abstract

1311927 Making profiles; shearing BANDSTAHLKOMBINAT SITZ EISENHUTTENSTADT VEB 7 Sept 1970 42782/70 Headings B3A and B3W A process for the production of profiles by cold deformation of metal strip comprises a preliminary profiling of the strip, a longitudinal cutting of the preliminary profiled strip and a final profiling operation. A strip of metal is fed in a preliminary profiling unit to form a multiple profile, Fig. 2, which is cut longitudinally by circular cutters 4a-4d to form single profiles 1b. The single profiles are fed into a final profiling unit to form U-sections.
