Abstract

1311148 Loom take-up motions MACHINEFABRIEK L TE STRAKE NV 31 March 1970 [2 April 1969] 15228/70 Heading DIE A sand beam 3 has associated therewith two auxiliary rollers 6, 7, pivotally supported from a shaft 14 by arms 13a, 15a, in such a manner that the tension of the cloth 1 urges the rollers towards the beam 3. The sand beam 3 is driven by gearing 5, 18, and the cloth beam 4 is driven from the sand beam shaft 12 by a slipping belt 10, or a slipping coupling 8, so as to maintain the cloth between roller 7 and beam 4 taut. The rollers 6, 7, may be swung upwardly and held by catches 16 when applying a new cloth around the sand beam.
