Abstract

130,929. Blomgren, G. A. F. March 31, 1919. Necktie-retainers.-A necktie-retainer consists of a length of wire or like resilient material, bent to form a loop 1 to engage the stud, the arms 3, 4 being bent at right angles at 5, 6 and then turned upwards and crossed at 7, the extremities being then bent around the arms 3, 4 and pointed at 9, 10. On pressing together the parts 5, 6, the points 9, 10 are separated, as shown in Fig. 4, when the tie knot may be pressed against these points which enter the knot on releasing the parts 5, 6.
