1308985 Silicone rubber TRIPLEX SAFETY GLASS CO Ltd 18 Jan 1972 [2 Nov 1970] 52058/70 Heading C3T Room-temperature vulcanizable silicone rubber containing acetoxy-silicon bonds is cured by a method comprising adding to the rubber 3-15% by weight of sodium alumino silicate having an adsorbed water content of 5-15% by weight. The silicate is preferably initially dispersed in an organic liquid such as dimethyl siloxane or a methylated disiloxane. Uses.-Injection moulding of the said rubbers.
