1307472 Cleaning drafting devices; stop motions SCHUBERT & SALZER MASCHINENFABRIK AG 26 July 1971 [24 July 1970] 34880/71 Heading D1D A drafting device comprising toothed rollers 21-24 has a pronged fibre-stripping device 30, 40 extending between the rows of teeth on the rollers. The fibre-stripping devices 30, 40 remove fibres from the surfaces of the toothed rollers and return them to the drafting zone. The fibre stripping devices 30, 40 can be collectively or individually spring loaded, made of flexible material or made in one piece. Excessive movement of the fibre-stripping devices 30, 40 may actuate a switched or photoelectric stop motion.
