The lips and ribs are formed by zig-zag slits 10. Slits 9 and longitudinal holes 8 weaken the roots of walls 2 so that a force tending to remove the channel from trough I causes extension of the roots, and rib 18 presses the lip against the side of the channel to resist removal. The channel is of plastics or rubber and may have flock coatings 19.
