VEGYESZETI TERMEKEK GYARA RT 19 April 1971 [30 Jan 1970] 20797/71 Heading C2C The invention comprises a process for making therapeutic 2 - (p-aminobenzenesulphonamido ) - 3-methoxy-pyrazine and salts thereof by reacting novel 2-(p-acetamidobenzenesulphonamido)-3- chloro-pyrazine (made by interacting 2,3-dichloropyrazine and p-acetamido-benzene-sulphonamide) with methanol containing an alkali metal hydroxide and if desired acidifying to produce the free compound.
