Abstract

1304289 Lubricants SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ NV 13 Sept 1971 [14 Sept 1970] 43751/70 Heading C5F Lubricants comprise a major amount of oil, a polyvalent metal salt of an alkyl salicylic acid and a hydrogenated copolymer of butadiene and styrene. The salicylate may be a basic salt. The copolymer may be a block or random copolymer. Zinc dialkyl dithiophosphates, polyisobutenyl - polyethylenepolyamines and polyisobutenyl succinimides of tetraethylenepentamine may also be present. The oil may be mineral or synthetic (no examples given).
