Abstract

1304169 Glass composition PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUS. TRIES Ltd 19 April 1971 [4 March 1970] 22726/71 Heading C1M A colour television faceplate is made of a glass of the compositions (percent by weight) The ranges claimed are subject to restrictions on the total of the ingredients from BaO to the end. This glass is opaque to Xrays and the temperature between annealing and softening points is at least 190‹ C. The annealing point is not less than 485‹ C. and coefficients of expansion between 98‹ and 102 x 10<SP>-7</SP> ‹ C.
