Abstract
1303153 Blow-moulding polypropylene BADISCHE ANILIN & SODA FABRIK AG 3 April 1970 [5 April 1969] 15885/70 Addition to 1303151 Heading B5A Polypropylene is blow-moulded by extruding a tube at a melt temperature of 190-250‹ C. and blowing at 180-240‹ C., the polypropylene consisting of a mixture of (a) 70-80% by wt. of which <1% is soluble in toluene boiling at atmospheric pressure, the ratio polypropylene: toluene being 5:95, and (b) 20-30% of which >99% is soluble in toluene boiling at atmospheric pressure, the ratio polypropylene: toluene being 5:95, the portions (a), (b) having substantially the same (within 5%) intrinsic viscosities and molecular weight distributions, and absolute intrinsic viscosities (in decahydronaphthalene at 130‹ C.) of 1-10.
