130,307. Dover, H. W. May 31, 1919. Addition to 109,912. Hand-wheels.-Relates to a modification of the hand-wheel claimed in the parent Specification, which is built up of two parts a, e, one or both formed of stamped or pressed sheet metal, and which are held together by a casing of celluloid, exonite, or like compound or of non-inflammable material capable of being moulded. According to the invention, the collar k of the hub m bears on the lower part e, and is secured to the wheel by rivets which pass through a distance-piece o. The parts of the spokes may be connected by rivets u passing through countersunk distancepieces v, and the lower halves of the spokes may merge from semi-elliptical section to V-section towards the nave. The lower-half of the wheel may be cast integral with the distance-pieces o, v.
