1299916 Sliding clasp fasteners LIGHTNING FASTENERS Ltd 26 May 1970 [4 April 1970] 25060/70 Heading E2S The subject matter is substantially similar to that of Specification 1299913 but the claims are directed to a sliding clasp fastener comprising two stringer tapes knitted to form longitudinal wales, to which two rows of interlocking elements are respectively attached by sewing and where the distance between' the courses of loops in the tapes is smaller than the sewing pitch and the pitch of the rows of interlocking elements. Double sewing threads may be used and inset supporting strands 4 are provided.
