Abstract
1298146 Refrigerating MARLO SpA 4 Aug 1970 37622/70 Headings F4H and F4U An ejector refrigeration system comprises a vapour generator A connected to supply vaporized refrigerating agent to a vapour superheater B which is connected to supply superheated vapour to an ejector comprising a nozzle C, a suction chamber D and a Venturi tube E, the nozzle being connected to eject superheated vapour into the suction chamber and the Venturi tube being connected to supply compressed vapour directly to a condenser F, the outlet of which is connected to the inlet of the vapour generator through a compressor H and also to an evaporator L which is connected in parallel with the vapour generator. The outlet of the evaporator is connected to the suction chamber whereby, during operation of the system, vapour from the evaporator is mixed in with the suction chamber with superheated vapour from the superheater. The refrigerating agent is monofluorotrichloromethane, having a boiling point within the range of from -30‹ to +40‹C. The refrigerating system may be used in the cooling of a vehicle or boat, the heat source for the vapour generator and/or the superheater being the exhaust of a motor.
