1296216 Sachets M J PAYNTER 25 Sept 1970 [29 Sept 1969] 47865/69 Headings B8C and B8K] A sachet for fluids may be reclosed after partial removal of its contents by folding and inserting an arrow-headed portion 16 through a longitudinal or circular slot 17. If longitudinal the slot may extend to an edge of the sachet (Fig. 5). The portion 16 which is ruptured or severed for dispensing the first portion of the the contents may be provided with a fluid throughway (20, Figs. 4, 5) and be spaced from the sachet body 10 by a neck (24, Figs. 6, 7). The sachet may be formed from flexible plastics tubing and have the end weld 12 extending obliquely or at right angles to the tube's length.
