Abstract

1295048 Laminated products BRODERICK STRUCTURES Ltd 27 Nov 1969 [19 Dec 1968] 60426/68 Heading B5N [Also in Division E1] A roofing or walling panel comprises a backing board of particle board material, a metal sheet covering a first face of the board and extending laterally beyond the backing board a sufficient distance for making a joint with an adjacent panel, the board and sheet being bonded over the whole of their interface by a neoprene-based adhesive, and a waterproof coating or adhesively secured membrane covering a second face of the board. The metal sheet may be of copper or of aluminium coated on one face with coloured plastics material. The membrane covering the second face may be a paper-backed aluminium foil secured by means of a cold-applied adhesive prior to bonding of the board and metal sheet.
