Abstract

1293856 Card storage apparatus INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORP 3 June 1970 [9 June 1969] 26723/70 Heading B6E A credit card or address plate storing device comprises a channel-shaped tray 10, Fig. 1, which may be closed or open at or both ends and two retaining members 20 made of plastics material and provided with locking members 28, 29; 31, Fig. 4, and 32, 33, to engage respective apertures 16, 18, 17 in the side wall 12, base 13 and side wall 14. To remove or displace the credit cards 9 the retaining members are flexed by gripping portions 21, 25 and raised upwardly, following disengagement of the locking members 28 . . . 33, into a position in which grooves 34, 35 can slidably engage rails 42, 44 integral with inwardly turned flanges 15, 11. In a modification the retaining members 20 are replaced by members fashioned fully from spring steel wire (Figs. 6 and 7).
