Abstract

1293723 Pinhole cameras P N PORTUGAL 31 March 1971 8354/71 Heading G2A A pinhole camera has its aperture 30 formed close to the base 20 of the camera which contains a fixed mirror 38 for reflecting light upwards on to film in a plane parallel to the base 20, the film being in a cartridge 26 which is received in grooves 58 to form a light-tight enclosure. A shutter 68, mounted on an arm (70) Fig. 2 (not shown) which is pivoted on a bearing (72), is opened by means of an electromagnet (76) which is energized when an exposure is to be made. After the electromagnet is energized, a flash gun (12), Fig.1 (not shown) is fired automatically and then a pin (88) is momentarily withdrawn from an opening in the film which is automatically spring driven until the pin engages another opening. The camera is intended for photographing scale models, the aperture being preferably 5/16 inch, above the base 20.
