Abstract

1293065 Emptying silos by screw conveyers MASCHINENFABRIK FAHR AG 19 June 1970 [14 July 1969] 29915/70 Heading B8S A storage container 1, Fig. 1, which comprises a flexible bag 2, e.g. of butyl rubber, within a supporting casing 3, is emptied by a screw conveyer arranged parallel to the bottom of the container. The casing 5 of the screw has a longitudinal slot therein and the casing can be rotated by a handle 10, Fig. 2. An agitator 13, 14 is provided with a handle 17. In a second embodiment, Fig. 5, the conveyer can be swung about a vertical pin 22 by a handle 24. In both embodiments the screw feeds material to an elevator.
