Abstract

1291290 Tracks for conveyers JERVIS B WEBB CO 20 Jan 1970 [21 Jan 1969] 2607/70 Heading B7L A track member 10 for a dragline chain 16 comprises, in a unitary construction, a base portion 18 for supporting the chain and to which is secured a wear plate 22, and two transversely spaced side portions 19, 20 terminating in flanges 23, 24 which define a guide slot for the tow pin 12 of a truck (not shown) and provided with longitudinal ribs 26, the inner surfaces of which are engageable by the chain to maintain the chain in relatively centred relative to the guide slot and the outer surfaces of which serve to anchor the track, e.g. in a poured concrete floor. The ends 25 of the flanges 23, 24 engage the chain and prevent it moving vertically more than a limited distance from the base portion. In an alternative embodiment the wear plate is omitted.
