Abstract
1289044 Tyre tread compositions CHEMISCHE-WERKE HULS AG 6 Feb 1970 [7 Feb 1969] 5729/70 Heading C3P The composition comprises of 100 parts by weight of a polybutadiene having from 25-50% of 1,2-monomer units, 10-40% of cis-1,4 monomer units and from 15-55% of trans-1,4 monomer units and having an ML-4 value raised from an initial value of 10-60 to a final value of 70-120, (b) 5-100 parts by weight of a softener, and (c) 30-120 parts by weight of a carbon black. The Mooney value can be raised by a coupling reaction or by a "jump" method either on the raw polymer or in the presence of the additives.
