Abstract

1288733 Photographic benzoylaceto-(sulphonamido) anilide yellow couplers FUJI PHOTO FILM CO Ltd 21 Jan 1970 [21 Jan 1969] 2943/70 Heading G2C [Also in Division C2] A yellow coupler of the formula:- wherein R and R<SP>1</SP> are C 1 to C 3 alkyl groups, and X is an alkyl, aryl or substituted aryl group, has improved water-solubility and the silver may be bleached from the blue-sensitive layer containing a yellow dye image formed using a colour developer containing such a coupler, more completely. The Examples illustrate yellow reversal development using a yellow coupler as defined above.
