1288712 Mounting spools in stranding machines SCHWERMASCHINENBAU - KOMBINAT ERNST THALMANN VEB 22 Feb 1971 5134/71 Heading D1T [Also in Division F2] Bushes 6, in which spool supporting trunnions 3 are rotatably mounted in a stranding machine frame, are axially movable to engage and disengage the trunnions with the spool hub, the bushes having oblique projections or grooves 17 formed in their surfaces, engaging corresponding grooves or projections 18 in longitudinally movable draw-bars 7, which have racks formed in their remote surfaces, engaging pinions on a common shaft rotatable in either direction, via a reversible ratchet mechanism, by a manually movable yoke 10.
