Abstract

1287553 Making plastics and like bags WINDMOLLER & HOLSCHER 12 Jan 1970 [28 Jan 1969] 1403/70 Heading B5D [Also in Divisions B8 and H2] The movement of a belt conveyer carrying bundles of flexible tube sections from a tube drawing machine to apparatus forming the base of the bags is controlled by an electric circuit (see Division H2J) so that each bundle deposited singly on the belt which then moves on, or the bundles may overlap each other, or two or more bundles may be deposited on top of one another before the belt moves on. The control circuit contains time delay mechanisms and a counter mechanism. In a second embodiment speed change of the belt utilizes pole change of an A.C. motor.
