Abstract

1287090 Character displays ISE ELECTRONICS CORP 28 Aug 1970 [1 Sept l969] 41421/70 Heading G4H A display system comprises a luminous character display tube and transistors 31α-31h between the output loads 34α-34h of a character generating circuit and the anodes α-h of the display tube, the base electrode of each transistor being grounded, the emitter being connected to ground by resistor 32 and the collector electrode being connected to a display tube anode. A character is displayed by energization of an appropriate combination of anodes, under the control of the character generator. The transistors are of PNP type and the output leads are connected to a positive source through resistors 33α-33h. A positive signal applied to an input terminal 34α-34h causes the emitter to go positive and the transistor conducts. The anode collector accordingly goes positive and the associated anode glows.
