1284993 Dishwashing machines; sliding drawers KENWOOD MFG (WOKING) Ltd 23 Dec 1970 [13 Jan 1970] 1717/70 Headings A4B and A4F A dishwashing machine comprises a housing carrying a dish-holding receptacle movable between extended and retracted positions projecting from and within the housing, respectively, and a supporting member, e.g. a bell-crank 1a, pivoted on the housing for movement between a supporting position in which a part thereof e.g. a roller 3, supportingly engages a downwardly facing surface 1 of the receptacle and a stowed position in which the part is higher than the surface 1 and the receptacle is in its retracted position, the arrangement being such that upon movement of the receptacle towards its extended position a surface 7 thereon engages the supporting member to pivot it to its supporting position. In the illustrated embodiment two bell-cranks 1a are provided for engaging two surfaces 1, and in the stowed position each roller 3 is received in a downwardly open slot 6, in the receptacle, bounded at one side by one of the surfaces 7. The supporting position of each bell-crank 1a is determined by the engagement of an arm 15 thereof with an eccentrically mounted adjustable stop 16. The receptacle is also supported at each side during its movement by the engagement of a downwardly facing surface 10 thereon with a roller 11, which is engaged by a stop 13 on the receptacle when the latter is fully extended. Additionally guide members secured to the receptacle travel along rails 12 during movement of the receptacle.
