1284912 Detonating compositions DYNAMIT NOBEL AG 27 Oct 1969 [26 Oct 1968] 52608/69 Heading C1D A composition for detonating solid propellent charges comprises a mixture of nitrocellulose and a solid impact-sensitive compound which is a diazo compound or contains a triazole or tetrazole nucleus, for example 5-amino-tetrazole, diazodinitrophenol, or tetrazene. PETN or nitromannitol may also be included. The composition may be granulated with the aid of acetone, ethyl or methyl acetate, glue, gelatine, or dextrin. The composition is useful for the detonation of propellent powder compacts described in copending Application 52607/69.
