1283939 Steering mechanisms P HIGGINS 21 Dec 1970 [22 Dec 1969] 62275/69 Heading B7H The offside wheels 11, 13 of a vehicle are connected to the steering box 15 via steering linkages 17, 18 and 22 and drop arms 16 and 19, and to the near side wheels 12, 14 via track rods 23 24, the near side wheels (Fig. 2, not shown) being interconnected via link arms (25), (28) and (30) and drop arms (26), (29) pivotally mounted in the chassis. The interconnection of the near side wheels allows greater control of the rear near side wheel 14.
