Abstract

1283930 Reservoir brushes G R J STEVENS 19 Nov 1969 [19 Dec 1968] 60414/68 Heading A4K [Also in Division F1] A fluid applicator for cleaning telephones comprises an aerosol container 1 to which is attached a brush head 6 around which an annular pad 9 of felt is secured. When the brush is pushed against a telephone mouth-piece a limit valve 3 is opened thereby delivering a metered quantity of fluid to the brush via nozzles 5. A cover 10 which clips over a lip 11 formed on the container houses a smaller brush 12 which is used for cleaning the digits on a telephone dial. A sponge 13 which is used for cleaning the ear-piece is housed in a cover 14 which fits over the lower lip 15 of the container. The aerosol container may be replaced by a resilient plastics container.
