Abstract

1283674 Valves INFOTRONICS INSTRUMENT CORP 19 April 1971 [2 March 1970] 21257/71 Heading F2V [Also in Division G1] A valve comprises two relatively rotatable members 111, 112, member 112 (Fig. 13) having a series of ports 122, 123 adapted to be connected according to the relative position of members 111, 112 by grooves 126, 68 in member 111 (Fig. 11). Member 111 also has a circular groove 124 through which a purge gas may be passed via ports 120, 121 in member 112 to prevent extraneous gases entering the valve. Member 111 is urged against member 112 by springs 116, and member 111 is turned manually by a shaft through co-operating members 118, on the shaft, and 114. Member 118 has grooves co-operating with spring-loaded pen 119 to define the operating positions of the valve.
