Abstract

1283508 Watch strap J BROIDO 19 April 1971 [17 March 1970] 22339/71 Heading A3H In a watch and strap combination, the strap is formed of two parts 2, 3 Fig. 1 hinged together and connected to the watch 1 along a single axis 4. The two parts of the strap may each have a forked end 5, 6 respectively encompassing the watch. The hinge could include two pivots, one situated on either side of the watch, the pivots being either fixed to the watch as in Fig. 3, one pivot 10 incorporating the rewinding stem 11 of the watch, or may be fixed, as in Fig. 4, to one part 16 of the strap, each pivot engaging recesses 18 in the watch.
