832,249. Watch stands. SEAGER, J. H. G. Dec. 9, 1957 [Jan. 17, 1957], No. 1737/57. Class 52(5) [Also in Group <SP>XVIII]</SP> A watch has a support member attached to the back. In the first example, Fig. 1, the support member 2 is fixed by a bayonet-slot connection to the back of the watch and the feet 2a normally curve round the case. If the member 2 is removed, reversed and replaced the feet 2a support the watch in an upright position. In another example, Fig. 3, the member 2 is slotted at 6a to slide over a pin 3 and is guided by pins 4a. The member 2 may be located in a recess in the watch back. The pin 3 may be omitted, the member 2 merely being frictionally held between two raised portions on the watch back, Fig. 8. In another example the member 2 is permanently hinged to the watch back. The member 2 may be formed of wire.
