Abstract

1283172 Amplifiers IWASAKI TSUSHINKI KK 5 May 1971 [13 May 1970] 13323/71 Heading H3W In a direct-current amplifying arrangement signal is applied from terminal 1 over a switch 2 with an alternative earth position to the input of a direct-current amplifier 7. The output of amplifier 7 is applied to the out-of-phase input 8 of a differential amplifier which applies an output to the terminal 11. This output is applied to charge a capacitor 16 over switch 15 which is closed when the switch 2 is on earth position, so that the capacitor 16 is charged up to provide an input to the in-phase input terminal 9 which compensates for drift in the system. A further amplifier (13) may be included in the feedback path, either between the output terminal 11 and switch 15 (Fig. 1, not shown) or alternatively between capacitor 16 and the amplifier input terminal 9 (Fig. 3, not shown).
