AGFAGEVAERT AG 15 July 1969 [16 July 1968] 35569/69 Heading C2C Compounds of Formula I wherein R 1 is an alkyl or aryl group optionally substituted by halogen or a sulphonic acid group, R 2 is H or alkyl and R 3 is an alkyl or aryl group optionally nitro-substituted, are prepared by reaction of a hydrazine R 1 -NH.NH 2 with a # - amino - # - alkylmercaptoacrylic acid ester obtained by reaction of an amine of formula R 2 HNR 3 with a compound of Formula II wherein alk is methyl or ethyl. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 956,261.
