With the support member 38 in this lowermost cooking position, a timer switch (44a), Fig. 3 (not shown) is capable of energizing the second motor after a predetermined cooking period once the switch 45 has been switched out of the circuit of the first motor and into the circuit of the second motor. The second motor is de-energized when the support member 38 has reached its uppermost position by the plate (35) engaging a micro-switch (37) Fig. 3 (not shown), The vat 11 has a recessed bottom portion covered by a frusto-conical cover 16 with an aperture at its apex.
