Abstract
1281491 Rotary distributors DUCELLIER & CIE 27 April 1971 [13 May 1970] 11513/71 Heading H1N An insulating ignition distributor cap with sleeves 2 for the reception of leads has in each sleeve 2 a conductive socket 5 having a strip 7 extending therefrom into the interior of the cap and the inner end 12 of each strip 7 is bent to locate socket 5 axially in its sleeve and to act as a contact stud for co-acting in use with a rotor arm. The inner ends of the strip can be engaged by a cam plate 14, Figs. 2, 5 (not shown), to set them at the required radial distances from the axis of the cap, cam plate 14 being used for setting purposes only and then removed from the cap.
