Abstract

1486031 Rotary distributers BRITISH LEYLAND UK Ltd 18 April 1975 [26 April 1974] 18359/74 Heading H1N A distributer for an internal combustion engine ignition system comprises an ignition coil 24 incorporated into the cap 13 of the distributer, the secondary of the ignition coil being linked to the distributer arm 21 by a spring- loaded block 25 and a carbon brush 27. The time during which the low tension voltage is applied is minimized by an electronic computerized system to prevent overheating.
