Abstract

1281347 Packages ES & A ROBINSON (HOLDINGS) Ltd 31 Oct 1969 [31 Oct 1968] 51599/68 Heading B8C A package comprises two laminates 1 and 2 of film material enclosing an article and a backing board 4. The laminate 1 includes a preformed pocket 2a and a surrounding marginal portion 3. The laminate 2 is pre-applied to the board 4 and subsequently heat sealed directly to the marginal portion 3. A frame of stiffening material may be secured to one or both surfaces of the marginal portions of the package. A carrying handle may be provided by aligned apertures in such a frame.
