1281066 Concrete reinforcing bar TOR-ISTEG STEEL CORP 18 Nov 1969 [4 Sept 1969] 56284/69 Heading E1K A reinforcing rod for concrete comprises two longitudinal ribs 2, and projections 3 with a continuously curved periphery in plan view positioned between the ribs. The rod may be twisted, the ribs becoming helical. The projections are circular in plan, or elliptical with their major axis parallel, inclined or perpendicular to the ribs or bar axis. The projections have convex, concave, flat or cup-shaped upper surfaces. The projections are arranged in rows, those in adjacent rows may be staggered.
