Abstract

1280964 Cables STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd 3 March 1971 5887/71 Heading H1A An insulated pair of conductors, possibly of copper or aluminium, comprises two parallel conductors 1, 2 wrapped in a single strip 3 of insulating material, e.g. paper or plastics/paper laminate. The strip is rolled up as shown to form two tubular members in which the conductors are positioned, glue or other adhesive means being provided in spaces 4, 5 and on the portions of the strip around the conductors. The portion of the strip between the tubular members may be partially weakened along its length to facilitate separation of the conductors.
