Abstract

1280955 Washing kegs; walking beam conveyers MASCHINENFABRIK A WAGNER 28 April 1970 [30 April 1969] 20437/70 Headings B8A and B8T A machine for washing kegs comprises two identical rows of cleaning stations 2a ... 2g and 3a ... 3g. The kegs are advanced intermittently through the cleaning stations by walking beam conveyers. The two conveyers for the two rows of cleaning stations are driven by a common drive member in such a manner that the motion of the conveyers is 180 degrees out of phase. The vertical motion is produced by cam 13 and link work (15), (16), Fig. 2 (not shown). The horizontal motion is produced by cam 12. The two conveyers have common loading and unloading feeds.
