1280782 Sliding clasp fastener SOLIDOR HEILIGENSTADT KOMBINAT FUR HARTKURZWAREN VEB 7 April 1971 8963/71 Heading E2S A sliding clasp fastener has two rows of helical-shaped closure links in the form of loops 4, 5 made of plastics material each row having links 9 which in the zone of the closure heads 6 extend at right angles to the plane of the fastener closure. Every nth loop 5, where n is 2 or more, is shortened and the adjoining loop arms of a row of links touch one another fully and the row of links is attached to the supporting tape 1 by at least two longitudinal sewing seams 7, 8 one of which 7 is arranged outside the loops 5 in such a manner that it only passes through the longer loops 4. Advantageously seam 7 partly covers the shortened loops 5.
